Valuair starts evening flights to Medan

Beginning June 2, 2008, Valuair will offer three weekly morning and three evening flights to Medan instead of its current six times weekly morning flights. With this new flight schedule, passengers traveling to Medan can expect more convenience and connectivity.

Beginning June 2, 2008, Valuair will offer three weekly morning and three evening flights to Medan instead of its current six times weekly morning flights. With this new flight schedule, passengers traveling to Medan can expect more convenience and connectivity.

Valuair began operating flights to the Northern Sumatran capital city on March 30, 2008. It currently flies one morning flight daily to Medan except on Wednesdays. With the new flight schedule, it will fly three morning flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, as well as three evening flights on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The first evening flight begins on Monday, June 2, 2008.

Valuair and Jetstar Asiaโ€™s CEO Ms. Chong Phit Lian stated, โ€œWe are pleased to offer our passengers, particularly those residing in Medan, this new arrangement which will allow them to connect to our regional flights departing from Singaporeโ€™s Changi Airport Terminal One with more convenience.โ€

Besides Medan, Valuair also flies to Indonesiaโ€™s capital city, Jakarta, as well as Bali and Surabaya. Its sister airline Jetstar Asia flies to ten other Asian cities including Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Manila, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Taipei and Yangon.

In addition to free online seat selection, plush leather seats and a generous 20-kg luggage allowance, Valuair and its sister airline Jetstar Asia operate from Changi Airport Terminal One, providing passengers with more comfort and convenience.
