Anse Lazio on Praslin makes for ideal beach holiday

One of Seychelles most popular beaches, the Anse Lazio beach on the island of Praslin, which is famous for its powdery white sand and crystal clear sea, has made it on the list of the best thirteen beaches in the world to try for the 2011 festive season.

This list is being featured online by bing travel, which has led the MSN – one of the top search engines on the Internet – describing Anse Lazio as “one of the most idyllic of all beaches in the Seychelles,” alongside the Palm Beach of Aruna in the Caribbean, and the Lampedusa in Sicily.

Located along the northern western shore of Praslin, Seychelles' second largest island, the “Anse Lazio” has constantly earned mention in various travel brochures.

Lonely Planet's guided page on Anse Lazio has described it as the best beach on Praslin and in the archipelago, whereas a TripAdvisor review ranked it number 1 among 11 attractions on Praslin.

Another Seychelles’ beach that is continuously rated alongside the most glamorous beaches in the world is the “Anse Source D’argent” beach of La Digue island.
