As the end of the year approaches, the Seychelles Tourism Board has once again come out with another edition of its “Friends of Seychelles-Press” e-Newsletter.
In this last edition of the 2011 “Friends of Seychelles-Press” newsletter, the Seychelles Tourism Board takes the opportunity to thank all of members of the “Friends of Seychelles-Press” for having gone the extra mile to keep Seychelles in the news.
In reminiscence of 2011, the Seychelles islands were prompted into the limelight worldwide with the news of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge of the United Kingdom, honeymoon in these tropical islands. With that, the press has been eager to know more about the picturesque and tranquil islands of the Seychelles.
In this edition, the “Friends of Seychelles-Press” looks at the various publications Seychelles featured in across the world and the multiple press conferences held by the Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Tourism Board, Alain St.Ange.
The newsletter starts off with an article where Mr. St Ange invites the press to visit Seychelles to discover the many facets the islands has to offer as the perfect destination, an invitation he made in Paris following an interview by a series of French TV stations.

Anita Mendiratta, the Lead Consultant of the CNN TASK Group, explained how Alain St.Ange from the Seychelles demonstrated the ability of constantly being in the news and increasing visibility of the islands.
The newsletter also takes notes on two publications featuring Seychelles, China Flight Magazine, and the popular Thomas Cook Traveler Guide tantalizing their readers to discover the mid-ocean islands.
