The Region Initiative expands into South Asia

Iran and Bangladesh join TRI

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - The Region Initiative (TRI) has expanded deeper into South Asia as the Bangladesh Tourism Foundation has joined TRI.

TRI’s reach into Central Asia and Eastern Europe is continuing, and two organizations from Iran are now partners in its journey for a strong tourism base for the future of these regions. Derakhshesh Tour and Travel Agency along with TAV Tour and Travel Group from Iran have joined TRI.

The Region Initiative now has a presence in 17 countries with 19 partners: Armenia, Bangladesh, India, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Tajikistan, Russia, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
