Tourism on the Silk Road 2011 to be held in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, Uzbekistan - The 17th Tashkent international tourist fair, "Tourism on the Silk Road, 2011" will be held in the UzExpoCentre on November 2-4.

According to the Anastasia Kostyaeva, Director of TNT Expo, one of the organizers of the fair, it will be a real celebration of the Great
Silk Road.

Apart from national songs and dancing, foreign visitors will be able
to visit the festival of national cuisine, which will showcase autumn
fruits and vegetables in an eastern bazaar, and there will be stands
showing and selling artisan goods, said Kostyaeva. The international
tourism fair will also run competitions for photographers and tour
guides.
