7 people die in tourist bus rollover in southwest China

CHENGDU - Seven people were killed while 30 others were injured after the tourist bus they boarded overturned on a road in southwest China's mountainous region, local officials said Saturday.

The accident occurred near Huang Long tourist spot in the county of Songpan, Tibetan-Qiang Autonomous Prefecture of Aba, Sichuan province at about 1: 50 pm Saturday. Six people died on the spot and the other one died in hospital, county officials said.

The injured have all been hospitalized while police are probing the cause of the overturn, officials added.
