EVA Air launches free app for iPhone, iPod and Android
EVA Air is giving travellers more convenient access to information about its flights and services with the launch of a free app for iPhone, iPod Touch and Android.
Available in three languages - English, traditional Chinese and simplified Chinese - the EVA Mobile app allows 24/7 access to EVA Air, enabling travellers to get flight updates, make travel arrangements and more.
The app is ready for use on iPhone, iPod Touch, Android and similar hand-held devices and available through the Apple App Store and Android Market. EVA will release an iPad application in November.
EVA Mobile functions include Flight Schedule, Booking Enquiry, Evergreen Club, Preferential Fares and Contact Us. Passengers can check booking records, flight schedules, departure and arrival times. They can set up Short Message Service (SMS) reminders, track special fares on routes they frequently travel, check their Evergreen Club frequent flyer member information and benefits such as accumulated mileage and upgrades. The Contact Us function makes it easy to communicate directly with EVA offices worldwide.
