Three Singaporean tourists are reported to have received serious spinal injuries when a four-wheel-drive bus rolled in sand dunes near the coastal town of Lancelin 94km north of Perth on Sunday.

In response to media queries, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman said in a statement that they are aware of the accident and are providing all necessary assistance to the affected Singaporeans.

The Singapore High Commission in Canberra is also in close touch with the medical authorities in Western Australia who are attending to the victims.

According to the statement, officers from the High Commission supported by consular officers despatched from MFA's headquarters in Singapore are currently in Perth to attend to those affected.
