The campaign’s aim is to increase Arab tourist numbers to Egypt.
The delegation met travel and tour agency representatives as well as media personnel. They highlighted the unique image of Egypt and its position as the top tourism destinations for Arab tourists.
The second session of the “Egypt where all it begins” campaign was launched this month by Egyptian Tourist Authority in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Qatar.
As part of the campaign the authority is hosting artistic and cultural festivals in mid-June, starred by Arab and Egyptian superstars in the cities of Sharm Al Sheikh, Cairo, Alexandria, Marsa Alam and Porto Ghaleb.
“The campaign is an express invitation to explore the true spirit of Egypt,” a statement said.
The campaign also aims to portray the fact that Egypt is secure and safe destination.
Samy Mahmoud, Egyptian Tourist Authority vice president, said that Egypt’s tourism is already on the recovery path and it is expected to reach 80 per cent of the previous figures by October.
