The Seychelles Tourism Board used the ITB Tourism Trade Fair in Germany to showcase its new design in trade display. The backdrop of the new Seychelles stand depicts a shot of one of the beautiful white sandy beaches of the islands with its clear turquoise blue seas. "Both the perfect white sandy beaches and the clear and clean turquoise blue seas are unique selling points of the Seychelles," said Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

It was said at ITB that the new stand was refreshing, bright, and welcoming. The light-colored seat covers offer a more relaxed and calm atmosphere for the partners to conduct meetings and discussions, which also reflects the effortlessness of the business environment that the islands offers. The open plan concept has allowed for hassle-free movement around the stand, and at the same time the privacy required for the meetings being conducted.

The new design in trade fair display serves to reinforce the invigorating approach that the Seychelles Tourism Board has taken in its style of marketing the destination. It is very much an open-plan style of concept that brings to life the needed space so needed in trade fairs. The Seychelles Tourism Board was represented in Berlin by Alain St.Ange accompanied by Bernadette Willemin, the Board´s European Director; Elsia Grandcourt, the Board´s Deputy CEO; and Edith Hunzinger, the Board´s manager for Germany.

Seychelles has been developing a new style of management of its tourism industry ever since the islands' President Mr. James Michel personally took over the portfolio of the industry and appointed Alain St.Ange, the known local tourism personality, to be his CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.
