The Republic of the Seychelles, the tropical Indian Ocean group of islands have confirmed that they will be represented at the 2011 ITB Tourism Trade Fair in Berlin by a large delegation, which will be led by Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board.

His delegation will also have a private sector with some 26 participants, which will include all the main hotels working in the German and European markets. These include Air Seychelles, which will be represented by Gilles Gosselin; Masonโ€™s Travel with Eddie Dโ€™Offay; Coco de Mer Hotel of Praslin with Ash Behari; Fregate Island Private with Nicole Kramer; Desroches Island with Sarah Jensen; 7 Degrees South with Anna Butlet-Payette; Banyan Tree Seychelles with Anders Dimblad; La Reserve Hotel of Praslin with Peter Pomeroy; Berjaya Hotels & Resorts with Ken Choo; Maia Luxury Resort with Elke Menz; Paradise Sun of Praslin with Katrin Knott; Denis Private Island with Alan Mason; Hilton Seychelles with Natalie Litowtschik; North island with Roberto Viviani; Le Meridien Seychelles with Ahmed Kamal; Creole Travel Services with Guillaume Albert; Select Seychelles with Freddy Karkaria; Le Relax Hotels with Rakesh Rai; Castello Beach Hotel of Praslin with Johnny Kusnadi; Cerf island Resort with Foram Varsani; Dhevatara Beach Hotel of Praslin with Amanda Zirgulis; Raffles Praslin Seychelles with Silke Teubener; Seychelles Connect with Laurent Alis; Sunset Hotel Group with Clairemonde Cocquet; Le Domaine de Lโ€™Orangeraie of La Digue with Philippe Comaille; and VPM Yacht Charters with Lucie Barone.

The Seychelles Tourism Board will not only have Alain St.Ange, the Boardโ€™s CEO, but they will also have as part of the official delegation Elsia Grandcourt, the Boardโ€™s Deputy CEO; Bernadette Willemin, the Boardโ€™s European Director; Edith Hunzinger, the Manager of the Seychelles Tourist Office in Frankfurt Germany with her Assistant, Sue Schneider; Amia Jovanovic-Desir the Seychelles Senior Marketing Executive; and Marketing Executive Sandra Lepathy.

The Seychelles, known as the land of perpetual summer, just last weekend closed their 2011 carnival, which saw the popular participation of the community of nations with 21 international floats coming from the four corners of the world and an event set to become the unique “Carnival of Carnivals.” The next edition of the Seychelles carnival has been set for March 2-4, 2012.
