AVIAREPS and Airworld Alliance enter into US joint venture

AVIAREPS and Airworld Alliance have decided to join forces in the United States of America by establishing a new joint venture under the name AVIAWORLD. AVIAREPS is the world’s leading provider of airline representation and destination marketing services, while Airworld Alliance is the leading North American airline representation company with more than 30 years of experience. AVIAWORLD will have a presence across four sales offices in New York, Houston, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

AVIAWORLD will be headed by Eric Pechstein, who took over as General Manager of AVIAREPS’ US subsidiary in New York almost three years ago. The accomplished senior manager has an excellent reputation on the market and more than 25 years of experience in the airline industry. Pechstein gained his industry expertise working for prestigious airlines such as Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, and the well-known airline brands American Airlines, Delta, and US Airways.

The new joint venture offers great opportunities for companies from the aviation and tourism industries to be represented in the United States. With significantly extended selling and operational capabilities with 46 professionals, relevant expertise from managing renowned client accounts, together with a strong presence across all major US time zones and markets, AVIAWORLD is the leader on the US representation market.
