Take the kids to Italy on TourCrafters’ spring break package

Feb 14, 2011

LIBERTYVILLE, Illinois - What’s more fun and more educational than a trip to Disney World? How about a trip to Italy, home to the Colosseum, St. Peter’s, and pizza? It’s also home to Rome, Florence, and Venice, and TourCrafters, the Italian tour operator known for good-deal packages, has put together an Italy by Train package that takes in these amazing cities and makes an affordable spring break for American families.

The 11-day/10-night Italy by Train package costs US$1,129 (US$985 if booked by March 1) and includes round-trip air from New York; an arrival transfer; accommodations at the hotels Brasile in Rome, Meridiana in Florence, and Malibran in Venice; daily buffet breakfast; tickets for the Eurostar train; a half-day tour in each city; a Hop-On-Hop-Off bus tour in Rome; service charges; and VAT tax. The package is valid from March 1 to April 15, 2011.

The hotels are comfortable, centrally-located, 3-star hotels, but upgrades to first-class superior hotels are available, as are extra days. Also available are add-on air fares from other departure cities. These fares are less expensive if booked before March 1, more expensive after: US$55 or US$128 from Boston, US$95 or US$265 from Miami, US$65 or US$175 from Chicago, and US$155 or US$200 from Los Angeles.

All prices are per person, double occupancy, are subject to availability, and do not include city tax, airport taxes of approximately US$115, or fuel surcharges of approximately US$330, which are not included in the quoted price because they are subject to change. Reservations must be paid for within 72 hours of booking. For additional information about this and other spring packages, visit . For reservations, call 800-482-5995.
