BOSTON - Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises® has been named to Conde Nast Traveler's Gold List of the World's Best Cruise Lines for the sixth year in a row. This is the 17th year that Conde Nast Traveler has issued its Gold List, which is comprised of readers' top picks of the world's best hotels, resorts, and cruise lines.

More than 25,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers participated in an extensive survey from which the Gold List is established. Readers scored the cruise lines based on the following seven categories: itineraries, cabins, service, food, design, activities, and shore excursions. Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises' overall score was 87.1 out of 100, and readers gave the fleet high marks for its itineraries (94.7), service (93.7), and shore excursions (90.7).

Established in 1998, Grand Circle Small Ship Cruises® has grown from a single, custom-built river ship to more than 50 small ships today, ranging from custom-built river ships, four-star plus 50-passenger ocean-faring ships, and exclusive private charters. The fleet is part of Grand Circle Corporation, and it serves the company's two travel brands, Grand Circle Travel and Overseas Adventure Travel, both of which offer unique international vacations to Americans aged 50 and older.

Established in 1958, Grand Circle Corporation is the leader in international travel, adventure, and discovery for Americans aged 50 and older. Headquartered in Boston, Mass., the company has more than 30 offices throughout Asia, the South Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. Since 1992, the non-profit Grand Circle Foundation has pledged or donated more than $50 million to educational, humanitarian and cultural organizations worldwide.
