London Congestion Charge

Congestion charge lifted at Royal Garden Hotel

Jan 04, 2011

As part of the Mayor of London’s review of the Congestion Charging zones, the 5 star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington and the surrounding areas will no longer be a part of the congestion zones.

The removal of the Western Extension zone, in effect as of today (4th January 2011) will exempt both Kensington & Chelsea and the City of Westminster areas. The hotel also offers guests and visitors 24 hour car parking (operated by Euro Car Parks below its premises, across two floors), making it cheaper and easier for guests to enjoy the delights of West London.

Graham Bamford, General Manager, Royal Garden Hotel comments; “The removal of the congestion charge to our area is welcome news. With no charge to pay, guest and visitors will be able discover the local attractions without the hassle of the congestion charge.”
