Aviation news: Air Mauritius gets new aircraft

(eTN) – Information was received last week that Air Mauritius has taken delivery of a French-built, state-of-the-art ATR 72-500 aircraft, which will be deployed on their network with immediate effect.

(eTN) – Information was received last week that Air Mauritius has taken delivery of a French-built, state-of-the-art ATR 72-500 aircraft, which will be deployed on their network with immediate effect.

It is the third such aircraft Air Mauritius is now operating on shorter routes out of their home base of Port Louis, where the use of their wide-bodied jet aircraft is not financially viable but where demand for air travel nevertheless exists.
