California visitor found dead in Big Island Hotel

HAWAII - Hawaii Big Island police are investigating the discovery of a body found on Christmas Day at 7:45 am in one of the hotel rooms at the Fairmont Orchid.

The body was identified as 50-year-old writer Aron Abrams of Los Angeles, California.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday to determine the cause of death. Police do not suspect foul play.
