Seychelles tourism trade satisfied with ILTM in Cannes

The Seychelles tourism trade attending the 2010 upmarket tourism trade fair in Cannes in France has reported that interest for the islands continues to grow. Destination Management Companies, 7 Degrees South with Anna Butler-Payette and Ira Udwadia and Creole Travel Services with Guillaume Albert and Gregoire Beau, were on hand to support the marketing and sales efforts of Alain St.Ange, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board and eTurboNews ambassador, and Bernadette Willemin, the Board’s Director for Europe.

The Tropical Creole Islands of the Seychelles is out to increase its visibility in 2011, and the ILTM Tourism Trade Fair has been the ideal forum to launch the Tourism Board’s strategy. Devi Pentamah of Hilton Hotels Seychelles and Eric Goblet of the Exclusive and Private Island of Denis were also on hand to promote these two resorts positioning themselves behind the tourism boards efforts at a tourism trade fair dedicated to the upmarket resorts.

Seychelles has been more and more selective in its marketing initiatives with hotels and resorts positioning themselves at tourism trade fairs most suited to their respective markets. Hilton Hotel Seychelles and the Private Island of Denis are both upmarket Seychelles Resorts seeking discerning travelers planning a tropical holiday with a difference in the Seychelles.

The pre-organized meeting schedule put in place by the ILTM organizers have all turned up making this tourism fair another success for its 2010 edition.
