CTO-Northern California Chapter elects board for 2011-12 term

(eTN) - The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) - Northern California Chapter recently held elections and seated the board for the 2011-12 term.

Officers were elected to the following positions: President Vicki Lundy-Revels, Vice-President Evie Carlock, Secretary Marilyn Lewis, Treasurer Rebekah Lindsey, Membership Chairperson HilahJane Hawkins, Programs Chairperson Denise Laberee, and Public Relations Chairperson Sheila Ward-Shaw.

The meeting was presided over by Fernando Abreu, Deputy Director of Marketing CTO-USA Inc. of the New York office headquarters.

The President and Vice-President, along with other chapter representatives nationwide, will attend a retreat in St. Thomas, USVI scheduled for December 1-5, 2010.

The board is excited about their term and is in the process of planning an agenda, including seminars and educationals, to encourage and promote tourism to the many islands of the Caribbean.
