Skal's New York and London clubs signed a twinning agreement at Skål International's World Travel Market luncheon held on Tuesday, November 9 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The luncheon was attended by over 100 travel managers from 22 different countries.

Both clubs of London and New York, after consultations and meetings, decided the best way to help bring about sustained growth during these difficult times was to forge an even stronger bond of cooperation.

President of Skål International London Robin Jackson said, "Cooperation between our two great tourist destinations in developing initiatives together and offering attractive packages will help us strengthen our tourist offers in a very competitive market for market share."

In reply, President of Skal International New York James Sorrel concurred with Robin Jackson's sentiments and added, "By coming together like this we give our Skål members in both our clubs added ammunition to compete under fierce competition for tourists."
