Riot in Australian Outback prompts tourist warning
SYDNEY - Riot followed the stabbing death of a local man in an Aboriginal settlement prompted warnings for tourists in Australia's Outback.
Police reinforcements were rushed to Yuendumu, abouth 186 miles north-west of Alice Springs, after a street battle Tuesday and Wednesday that involved about 50 people from the isolated settlement.
Acting Senior Sergeant Shaun Gill said the rioters had armed themselves with sticks, iron bars, spears and traditional clubs called nulla nullas.
"Police received reports of five cars being torched and one house being set alight," Gill said.
Yuendumu is home to about 800 indigenous people.

Now the blacks have a member of parliament they will probably get a lathe to turn out their spears. I wonder if they owned the cars but as for the houses well they always burn down houses.
