Ramadan forum comes to a close tonight
DUBAI - Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) will organize the final lecture of the 9th Ramadan forum at Al Twar tent tonight, Saturday, August 28, 2010, for Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Al Oraifi titled “Hudhud Sulaiman.”
The final program also includes honoring the sponsors of the 9th Ramadan forum including: Saeed and Mohammad Al Naboodah, Bank Islamic Bank, DEWA, Bait Al Khair Association, and General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, as well as the bronze sponsors: Dubai Airport Free Zone, Dubai Customs, Tamani Hotels and Resorts, Maydan Hotel Group, and 3 NiX. The preacher of the nation program will also honor 12 young skilled students who brilliantly presented talented lectures to the audience of the 9th Ramadan forum.
Mohammad Al Hashemi, General Superintendent of the forum, said: “The final ceremony will include a lecture for Sheikh Al Oraifi, honoring all the participants of the forum who participated in the success of the 9th forum that came out with new distinctive ideas and programs, as well as non-Arab speaking orators who presented lectures to the foreign audience lauding the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who greatly supported us in exceeding all difficulties and achieving success.”
Al Hashemi emphasized that the success of the 9th Ramadan forum was obvious in the cooperation of all public and private sectors working as one team, and this positively reflected all the events thanks to all the employees who made great efforts during the nights of the forum.
Khelifa Al Falasi, chair of the forum’s team, indicated that Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing will begin planning for the 10th session, and the forum became one of the religious features of Dubai in Ramadan in implementation of the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum who instructed the organizing committee during his meeting with them to begin their preparations for the 10th session in 2011 with new concepts, ideas, contents, and activities.
