Seychelles Tourism Board congratulates Emirates Airline on recent Seychellois staff promotions

SEYCHELLES - The Seychelles Tourism Board has written to Emirates Airline to congratulate them on the recent promotions given to three of their Seychellois staff managing their Seychelles operations after it had been confirmed that effecting August 1, 2010, Mike Bathilde was promoted from cargo supervisor to cargo officer, Shana Laporte was promoted from senior airport services agent to airport services officer, and Denise Rassool was promoted from team leader to customer sales and services officer.

Alain St.Ange, the Tourism Board’s CEO, reacting to Emirates announcement said that it was encouraging to see the Seychellois Emirates staff moving up the Emirates ladder. Mr St.Ange also congratulated Emirates for taking the decision of promoting their Seychellois staff to more senior levels.

“This is clearly a step in the right direction as you empower more Seychellois to be at the helm of your Seychelles Operations,” he said to Emirates Airline.
