Popular TV personality from South Africa – Masechaba Lekalake – was recently in Seychelles where she spent a memorable week visiting the tropical islands.
Famous for her media work, Ms. Masechaba Lekalake is the writer, producer, and anchor of Masechaba Media, which is a TV production company that looks at inspirational subjects for African audiences worldwide.

She also works with SABC (South African Broadcasting Corporation) and has formerly been the producer and anchor of one program – Weekend Live of eNews TV – for two successful years, after which she worked with South Africa’s prime production company, Urban Brew Studios, until 2006 when she took up freelancing as a writer and story-liner.

While in Seychelles, Ms. Lekalake visited the islands of Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, whereby she enjoyed her one-day visit on the latter, sampling the island’s creole cuisine.

She was hosted on this visit by the Maia Luxury Hotel & Spa, Tclub Allamanda Resort, Hotel L’Archipel, and the Beachcomber Sainte Anne Resort.

During her visit here, she also had the chance of meeting with President James Michel and the Minister for Foreign Affairs Jean-Paul Adam. She also met with the Secretary of State Barry Faure who is the chairman of the Tourism Board, and his chief executive oficer, Alain St.Ange.

Ms. Lekalake has previously been to Seychelles when she was invited on a working visit by the President’s Office, whereby she interviewed a number of government officials and covered the 2010 Seychelles Regatta.

There’s one particular thing that Ms. Lekalake likes most about the Seychelles islands, and that is the friendliness and charms of the Seychellois people, she said.
