The advertising watchdog has upheld four complaints made about a magazine advert promoting Virgin Atlantic's premium economy class service.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) said the Crawley-based airline may have misled readers into thinking that new, larger seats were available in all its premium economy cabins.

Virgin submitted to the ASA that a footnote to the advert made clear that the leather seats shown were available on 58% of all its London Heathrow departures.
