Aviation news: Alaska Airlines launches "Hawaii Now" fare sale

SEATTLE - Alaska Airlines today launched a "Hawaii Now" fare sale, featuring low fares to Hawaii's most popular vacation destinations from several West Coast cities, including Anchorage, Alaska, Seattle, Portland, Ore., the Bay Area, Sacramento, Calif., and San Diego. One-way fares start as low as $149 for flights from West Coast destinations and $199 for flights from Alaska.

"Travel to Hawaii has never been more affordable," said Joe Sprague, Alaska Airlines' vice president of marketing. "The Hawaii Now sale offers travelers Alaska's award-winning service for one of the lowest fares available anywhere on the West Coast."

Tickets must be purchased by Aug. 15 and travel completed by Nov. 10, 2010.
