Aviation news: LAN Airlines orders 50 Airbus A320s at Farnborough Airshow

FARNBOROUGH, U.K. - Chilean airline LAN Airlines on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding for 50 Airbus A320 family aircraft. The commitment includes 10 A321s, a new aircraft type for the airline.

It didn't detail which other models were part of the order. Airbus is an EADS company. The order was announced at the Farnborough Airshow on the outskirts of London
