Yinchuan welcomes its first international 5-star hotel
Yinchuan's first international five-star hotel in the city, Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan, is bringing remarkable European flair to the local market. The grand opening was held on July 9, 2010 in this city which is the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China.
Municipality and city officials, as well as Mr. Reto Wittwer, president and CEO of Kempinski, attended the hotel’s opening, witnessing the historic moment with over a thousand invited guests. “As the only five-star international brand hotel in Yinchuan City, we will complement any discerning traveler offering a wide range of cuisine and accommodation experiences. Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan is located in heart of the city’s central business district - Jinfeng District - only a 30-minute drive from Yinchuan Hedong Airport and adjacent to the International Conference & Exhibition Centre and Museum of Ningxia, close to the Science & Technology Museum and the People’s Square.
The property comprises 368 elegant rooms and 41 spacious suites, including a Presidential and Diplomatic Suite. All rooms offer modern technology and comforts to cater to business and leisure travelers alike.
The food and beverage offer ranges from the Paulaner Brauhaus Restaurant with homemade beer to traditional Chinese cuisine, the all-day dining restaurant Café Berlin, Lobby Lounge, and Kempi Deli.
Kempinski Hotel Yinchuan conference and banqueting facilities provide 2,600 square meters of function space, making the venue one of Yinchuan’s largest pillar-less grand ballrooms. Additionally, the hotel has two terraces for outdoor events, as well as six function rooms with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment for boardroom meetings to conferences.
