United Airlines chairman and CEO named to President Obama's Export Council
CHICAGO, Illinois - Glenn Tilton, United Airlines' chairman and CEO, was named to the President Obama's Export Council on Wednesday. The goal of the council is to double America's exports over the next 5 years, while at the same time addressing the commitment to complete the Korea/US free trade agreement.
“The US aviation industry, specifically network carriers that fly internationally, will play a critical role in achieving the goal of doubling America’s exports over the next five years, and will continue to be an engine of economic growth enabling global trade and the movement of people and goods,” Tilton said.
Tilton, who is chairman of the Air Transport Association, also serves on DOT Secretary LaHood’s Future of Aviation Advisory Committee.

Sounds like a perfect choice, after running Ual to the ground. Taking its employees pensions and dignity. Walking away with millions. Its the American way Mr. Obama!
I suppose this was Obama's second choice, as Blago's future isn't looking too good.
