(TVLW) - US Airways has entered into a partnership with Travel Channel to produce a 60-minute entertainment program, which began airing onboard video-equipped flights Dec. 1. TravelQuest will feature striking imagery combined with interesting facts about many of the world's most popular and lesser-known travel destinations, enticing customers to experience them firsthand. With monthly features from Travel Channel personalities such as Samantha Brown and Anthony Bourdain, US Airways customers will now have access to exclusive insider tips like how to find the best local eateries and attractions.

"We think our customers will find value in being informed and entertained while flying and we continue to look for innovative ways to improve their travel experience," said Kevin Jackson, managing director, consumer and partnership marketing for US Airways. "This partnership with Travel Channel allows us to promote the 230-plus destinations that we serve and the worldwide scope of the Star Alliance network."

"The TravelQuest trivia initiative is a great way to position Travel Channel's informative travel content and personalities in front of millions of US Airways travelers every month," said Pat Younge, President and General Manager, Travel Channel. "We are pleased to partner with US Airways, as their broad domestic route map will increase Travel Channel's brand exposure to a whole new set of travel consumers."
