SUBANG (May 17, 2010): Malaysia Airlines flights to London and Amsterdam today were disrupted once again due to the closure of airports affected by fresh Icelandic volcano eruptions. As a result, Malaysia Airlines flights from Kuala Lumpur to these two cities and vice versa will be rescheduled.

The following flights are affected today, May 17, 2010:

FROM KUALA LUMPUR:

London (MH4), 1000 hours
• Retimed to depart Kuala Lumpur at 0200 hours, May 18
• Arrival in London at 0810 hours, May 18

London flight (MH2), 2340 hours
• Retimed to depart Kuala Lumpur at 0100 hours, May 18
• Arrival in London at 0710 hours, May 18

Amsterdam (MH16), 2355 hours

Malaysia Airlines flight MH16 to Amsterdam, which departed last night at 2355 hours, has been diverted to Frankfurt, while flight MH2, which departed at 2340 hours to London last night, diverted to Amsterdam. Passengers on these flights will be transferred to London and Amsterdam once the airspace has re-opened.

Passengers who have booked flights to London and Amsterdam and vice versa may defer their travel up to June 15, 2010. There will be no extra charge if these changes are made by May 21, 2010. Terms and conditions apply.

As the situation remains volatile, passengers are advised to check the flight status at www.malaysiaairlines.com before proceeding to the airport. Alternatively, passengers can also call the MAS Call Center 1300-88-3000 (within Malaysia) or +603-7843 3000 (outside Malaysia).

Passengers in London and Amsterdam can contact the reservations offices for the latest schedules:

London: +44 (0) 871 423 9090
Amsterdam: +31 20521 6250
