The fifth annual Routes Europe event is just around the corner and the number of delegate registrations is continuing to grow. Routes would like to take this opportunity to remind those still interested in attending that time is running out to register!

This year’s event, being held in Toulouse, France, from May 9-11, has had a record number of airlines signing up. Nigel Mayes, Routes managing director, explained: “The number of airlines interested in this year’s Routes Europe is far higher than in previous years. We are expecting nearly 80 airlines to be present, with over 150 airline delegates. The airlines range from start-up carriers such as AIS and Eurojet Air to network carriers like Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines, low-cost carriers such Wizz Air and easyJet, as well as charter carriers such as Thomas Cook and TUI. Two of the carriers, Ryanair and Lufthansa Italia, are holding ‘Route Exchange – Airline Requirement Briefings’ to selected airports on what they expect to see in an airport bid.”

Mark Gray, event director, added that: “Delegates can expect a new level of hospitality from our host Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, which will also provide lots of networking opportunities. The mayor is hosting the Welcome Reception in the Town Hall. The Gala Dinner is on the banks of the River Garonne, and there are various tours available to the region’s surrounding attractions, as well as a VIP Airbus and ATR tour.”

Attendees will be able to make the most of the one-to-one meetings, ‘City Pair Meeting’ facility, and ‘Route Exchange - Airline Requirement Briefings,’ along with a number of formal and informal networking opportunities.
