PATA New York Chapter celebrates 55th anniversary

The New York Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Chapter celebrated its 55th anniversary this week. PATA New York is the local chapter of PATA and was formed in 1962, making it one of the oldest most successful and active chapters.

The New York chapter has provided 55 years of leadership in global tourism offering valuable insights, forecasts, and analysis to help members make better business decisions.

Founded in 1951, PATA is a not-for profit association that is internationally acclaimed for acting as a catalyst for the responsible development of travel and tourism to, from, and within the Asia Pacific region.

The PATA New York Chapter is a partner with the upcoming eTN Nepal Summit in New York, and the PATA New England Chapter is a partner with the Boston Summit. For last-minute participation, eTN readers and PATA members can go to etn.travel/nepal
