The contract between STELIA Aerospace and Airbus for the furnishing of the cockpits of the entire A320 family has just been renewed. This contract includes both fitting out and furnishing.

This signature extends STELIA Aerospaceโ€™s position in the cockpit furnishing segment, since the entry into service of the A320 family (STELIA Aerospace has delivered over 7,000 shipsets since the launch of the programme in 1982). STELIA Aerospaceโ€™s industrial achievement is remarkable, with 100% on time deliveries for over 35 years.

The renewal of this contract therefore illustrates Airbusโ€™ strong confidence towards STELIA Aerospace on a very high stake programme. In order to meet the increasing demand of its customer, STELIA Aerospace is planning to reach a monthly rate of 60 shipsets in the following months.

Cรฉdric Gautier, STELIA Aerospace CEO, said: ยซ This contract was won over thanks to the know-how of our engineering and industrial teams, who are able to propose a large range of technical solutions addressing all the needs of our customers, explaining the presence of STELIA Aerospace in the Airbus A400M, A380 and A320 cockpits. This performance is also due to our ability to deliver on time at high rates ยป.

This contract reinforces STELIA Aerospaceโ€™s position as a leader in the cockpit furnishing segment, aligned with its strategy for providing fully equipped aerostructures and systems (manufacturing of aerostructures, systems installation, cockpit furnishing and manufacturing of pilot seats).

With a turnover of 2,1 billion euros and 6,600 employees worldwide (4,500 in France, 600 in North America and 1,500 in Tunisia and Morocco), STELIA Aerospace is one of the world leaders in the field of aerostructures, pilot seats and First Class and Business Class passenger seats.

STELIA Aerospace designs and manufactures the front fuselage sections for the entire Airbus family, as well as fuselage sections and specific sub-assemblies for Airbus, fully equipped wings for ATR, fully equipped central fuselages for Bombardierโ€™s Global7000, and complex metallic and composite aerostructure parts for Boeing, Bombardier, Embraer, Northrop-Grumman.
