Cyprus tourism revenue up 14.3%

Monday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the revenue from tourism increased 14.3% on an annual basis in March, compared to the 6.4% fall in the previous month.

Monday, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus announced that the revenue from tourism increased 14.3% on an annual basis in March, compared to the 6.4% fall in the previous month.

The tourism revenue stood at EUR 65.6 million in March, up from EUR 33.9 million in the previous month.

For the January to March period, the tourism revenue grew 3.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Meanwhile, the tourist arrivals increased 14.8% annually in March, compared to the 2.4% fall in the preceding month.
