The world’s favorite website for men, www.AskMen.com, recently released its list of "Top 29 Cities for Men 2010," in which Cape Town was voted sixth, beating the likes of “party capitals” Buenos Aires, San Francisco, and Chicago.

Each year Askmen.com profiles the best cities worldwide for men to live, work, and play in. Their formula takes into consideration the weather, outdoor activities on offer, the amount of professional opportunities, and the cost of living, nightlife, and dating.

Cape Town Tourism CEO Mariette du-Toit Helmbold said that Cape Town has been winning many top accolades of late, but what is more impressive is the consistency with which the city wins: “Cape Town is continuing to make an impact internationally. It makes me incredibly proud that the Mother City is consistently named one of the top ten cities in the world. For a small city, on the very tip of the African continent, that’s a huge achievement!”
