Brussels Airlines to codeshare with US Airways

Information was received from a regular Brussels Airlines source, that an agreement has been reached with Star Alliance partner US Airways to code share on the Brussels–Philadelphia route, with those flights being operated by US Airways on behalf of Brussels Airlines.

Domestic onwards flights out of the Philadelphia hub are also being added to expand choices for passengers from both sides of the Atlantic. In turn it is understood that US Airways will place their code on a number of Brussels Airlines destinations out of their hub in Brussels to a range of European and also their African destinations, including Entebbe, all subject of course to regulatory approvals, which are however expected to be granted without much ado.
