Those booked on affected flights are advised to watch out for updates on or call the MAS Call Center 1300-88-3000 (within Malaysia) or 603-7843 3000 (outside Malaysia) before proceeding to the airport. Customers who have mobile phones are encouraged to register their numbers with Malaysia Airlines for ease of notification via SMS.

There will be a waiver on penalty fees for customers holding special fare tickets with restrictive terms and conditions until April 30, 2010. For any subsequent booking changes, a penalty fee will be incurred. Refunds are not applicable.

Customers holding tickets which allow for change of travel dates may do so without penalty fee. Refunds are allowed and subject to a refund administrative fee.

Malaysia Airlines thanks all passengers for their patience during the rescheduling of these flights and would like to emphasize that the safety of passengers and crew is of paramount importance.
