Israel is banning the import of Apple's iPad, claiming that it's concerned that the device's wireless receivers and transmitters could interfere with other wireless products, and that it might not meet the country's national standards.
Tourists not allowed to bring iPads into the country. Customs officials said Thursday that they have already confiscated about 10 iPads since Israel announced the new regulations this week. Tourists who are oblivious to the rule will have their iPads confiscated at the airport.
The ban is a precaution for now could be lifted as soon as Israel is sure the iPad meets its standards.

I share the same doubt above, what happened with the Ipads ?
This will be a heavy trouble for bussines mens who have their factorys in Israel, this kind of peaple can't live without his ipad !!!

Confiscated ??!! That's typically Israel, isn't it?..The'World Bully'... (nuff said!)..
Are these iPads returned to the owners upon departure from Israel ?? or do they 'disappear,' never to be seen again ?
