HONOLULU, HI – The Hawaii Advertising Federation held its annual Pele Awards, honoring the year’s best creative work in advertising, marketing, and design produced in the state of Hawaii. At this year’s ceremony, OrangeRoc, was honored with 5 awards for work produced for a diverse group of clients with a wide range of communication needs.
One Pele Award was for a tradeshow booth and collateral for full custom hunting rifle manufacturer Kilimanjaro Rifles. OrangeRoc helped launch Kilimanjaro Rifles about a year ago and has been integral in producing everything from branding, logos, event displays, brochures, apparel, and advertising.
OrangeRoc’s creative director, Melinda Mullis said, “It’s so exciting to be part of a new company, helping them establish a presence in the marketplace. You really get to help shape their imagery and message set from the very beginning and get them headed off on the right foot. It’s so satisfying to see a company grow and know that you were a huge part in making them successful.”
Despite shrinking marketing budgets and the economy being in recovery in 2009, OrangeRoc was very busy the whole year helping clients large and small accomplish their marketing goals. It truly shows that a small company can produce big results after only four years in business.
