Following the introduction of Ryanair's 100 percent online check-in service, the airline has now authorized third-party advertising on its boarding cards.

Ryanair mentioned that boarding card adverting allows a “highly valuable, targeted, integrated, advertising campaign.”

According to the airline, this will allow advertisers to reach the 73 million Ryanair passengers that will print their boarding cards on their own in the next 12 months.

Ryanair’s new advertising service allows advertisers to reach a pan-European audience by integrating online and print advertising. Ryanair passengers refer to their boarding cards on a number of occasions during a trip – providing repeat exposure for advertisers, highlighted the airline.
