TTG Incontri and TTI offers the whole world of tourism at the main B2B fair in Italy

The organization of TTG Incontri, main b2b tourism trade fair in Italy, and of TTI, the workshop targeted to the purchase of the Italian tourism product, scheduled for October 22 to 24, 2010 is proceeding at a fast pace.

An international appointment, which with an attendance of over 35,000 people and a 37 percent increase in operators coming from world markets in the previous edition, reasserts itself as the main referring point for operators, be them interested in promoting foreign countries or Italy - three days of business to create a dialogue with the market, promote new features and products, and keep updated on the new tourist trends.

TTG Incontri favors the encounter between supply and demand in an exclusively trading context and allows to intercept most part of the distribution channel, making up 70 percent of trade visitors. A very high percentage and a significant presence, considering the importance of the role held by Italian travel agencies - with over 6 million people managed and an annual turnover of 5 billion euros, they represent the main distribution channel for travel. An estimated 90 percent of organized tourism in Italy is indeed handled by travel agencies.

Thus, it is a highly-operational event and a trading marketplace both for Italians’ journeys abroad and for foreigners’ journeys in Italy. And, together with TTG Incontri, takes place TTI, the most important workshop for promoting Italian tourism throughout the world, this year doubling the number of international trade buyers, tour operators, and travel agencies interested in purchasing and programming Italy - a not only quantitative but also qualitative increase, in order to involve new market segments and, therefore, new buyers and new categories. The demand will be able to intercept a highly-qualified supply, mainly embodied by regions, institutions, and accommodation facilities and will be able to properly organize its participation in the fair, thanks to the tested appointments’ system. All these elements sanction TTI as the only workshop where to buy and sell Italy.
