Virginia tourism offers free family vacations in sweepstakes

Families who love to vacation together now have the chance to win one of four trips from the Virginia is for Lovers Family Vacation Sweepstakes.

Beaches, water and theme parks, museums, history and outdoor adventure await four lucky families who enter the contest. The Virginia is for Lovers Family Vacation Sweepstakes features four prizes, each with a different theme and regional focus.

Each prize trip includes airfare for four, four nights of accommodations, a rental car, dining certificates and passes for activities and admission to nearly a dozen Virginia icons and sites.

The contest runs through Aug. 3, and drawings will be held in April, May, June and August. U.S. citizens 21 years old and older are eligible to participate.

Interested people can call 1-800-VISITVA to request a free Virginia is for Lovers travel guide.

The Virginia Tourism Corp., the state’s tourist promotion arm, is sponsoring the contest.
