Germanwings to launch twice-weekly Cologne-Tel Aviv service

Budget German airline Germanwings will launch a new route connecting its hub in Cologne, Germany with Tel Aviv, Israel.

The twice-weekly non stop service to commence on March 30.

The route will be operated with Airbus A319 aircraft.

Germanwings will compete on the route with Air Berlin airline.

Germanwings is a low-cost airline based in Cologne, Germany. It operates services to over 66 destinations in Europe.

Its main base is Cologne Bonn Airport, with secondary bases at Stuttgart Airport, Hannover-Langenhagen Airport, Berlin-Schönefeld International Airport,Hamburg Airport and Dortmund Airport.
