CEO Reappointed

New Kenya Airport Authority appointment already ruffling feathers

Information was received from Nairobi that the succession of George Muhoho, controversially reappointed some time ago for another term of office as the CEO of the Kenya Airport Authority, is already hitting stormy waters. His reappointment occured when much of the industry wanted him gone over a range of allegations.

It appears that the board has commenced the exercise of searching for a new CEO of the Kenya Airport Authority, but that in itself is no guarantee in Kenya that it will indeed happen or that the best candidate selected will end up with the job. The Kenya government ignored the board’s advice in the first place and nevertheless re-appointed Mr. Muhoho in the face of outrage and ongoing opposition.
