Seychellois hotel staff return from Germany

The Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA) last weekend organized a welcome party for two of their own lecturers and four specially selected hotel staff. The two STA staff were attached in recent weeks at the Cuxhaven Hotel School under a lecturer exchange and training program, while the four hotel staff were attached to leading German hotels and resorts for skills transfer and learning the latest techniques and methods in a high-pressure working environment.

A second such exchange program has been scheduled for April 2010 by the Seychelles Tourism Academy, while a reciprocal visit of lecturers from the Cuxhaven Hotel School is expected in the Seychelles in February next year.
