Thailand: More transit passengers than tourists

Thailand's travel and tourism industry has taken a particular beating as a result of the political turmoils it has gone through in recent months. It may be be very busy at Bangkok International Airport (Suvarnabhumi), but local industry-insiders claim that most of these air travelers are mainly passing through and are traveling to other destinations.
