Bahrain Exhibition & Convention Authority (BECA)/(Organizers) recently signed the agreement with CCKEC to participate in the Food and Hospitality Expo, Bahrain’s largest gathering of food, beverage, and hospitality industry professionals.

CCKEC represents some of the world-renowned companies in the industry that manufacture hotel, bakery, and restaurant equipment including Amana (USA), Metal Technica (Italy), Solis (Switzerland), Fast (UK and USA), Hallde (Switzerland), and Yurbo Chef (Netherlands). Other key principals of the company include APW/Wyott (USA), Champion (Italy), Hickory (USA), IGF (Italy), and Scanomat (Denmark).

CCKEC GM Huang You Sheng said: "We represent a very comprehensive range of high quality manufactured equipment, of which many have been received with extreme success in the market place. In addition, we carry a comprehensive stock of spare parts at our warehouse facilities in Bahrain; our operations are fully-computerized and supported by a team of highly-qualified technicians for installation, maintenance, and service back up.”

“Food & Hospitality Expo serves as a strategic platform for those in the food, beverage, and hospitality business wishing to access a market of more than 274 million people in the northern Gulf alone. Its concept and program of workshops will optimize dialogue between exhibitors and retailers, participants and visitors in this industry,” said Hassan Jaffer Mohammed, CEO, BECA.

Many local and regional companies have already confirmed their participation in this event, which will feature everything related to food and beverage, catering equipment, food processing technology, and packaging products. CCKEC joins Coca-Cola, Babasons, Bahrain Modern Mills, Noor Al Bahrain, The Diplomat Radisson BLU Hotel, Moevenpick Hotel Regency Inter.Continental Hotel, Tamkeen (Labour Fund), Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TUV (Middle East), and Bahrain Airport Services in showcasing the latest innovations in the industry. Gulf Air is the Official Carrier.

In addition, BECA and Tamkeen are co-financing a showcase for Bahraini food industry Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with Tamkeen’s pavilion being organized in cooperation with the Bahrain Business Women’s Society.
