Boeing announced on Wednesday that it has delivered a 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft to US leasing company GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) for its customer Philippine Airlines.

The new aircraft is the first Boeing 777 in Philippine Airlines' flight and is the first of two leased 777-300ERS that the carrier will operate on international routes.

Philippine Airlines also has four additional 777-300ERs on order directly from Boeing.
