Riyadh PTO organizes a workshop on events management

The Riyadh Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) will organize a workshop on Monday, November 9, 2009 for event organizers. The workshop will be delivered by Australian event and festival management expert, William O’Toole.

Mr. Abdul Rahman Al Jassas, executive director of Riyadh PTO, stated that the workshop aims to provide those working in the event management field, in both public and private sectors, with the proper knowledge about the criteria and mechanism of tourism events and festivals. Al Jassas added that this workshop comes within the efforts of the SCTA to develop the industry of events and festivals for their important impact on the tourism activity.

The workshop will be held in Golden Tulip at Al Nasria Street, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
